Episode 136-137: “The Old Blue Castle Investigation Case”
Before watching this episode, on a scale of 1-10, how much are you looking forward to seeing it again?
10! Love this case and the animation’s great! Also memorable since Conan appears to be out of commission for the majority of it.

Yup. You’re a moron. How’s that karma treating you?
What’s one thing you noticed/realized about this episode that you hadn’t before?
Although we don’t see or hear him in this case, Sango Yokomizo is mentioned. (Megure is not seen but is heard on the phone.)
On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate this episode?
10! This case is always great to see. :)
Celebrate it!

Haibara commenting she and Conan should just enjoy a children’s holiday since if they think too much, they’ll end up like Agasa. Cue Conan frantically looking at his hair. xD

Culprit attempts to teach victim a lesson by killing him. Realizes victim obviously can’t learn lesson if dead. :|
What’s one thing you noticed/realized about this episode that you hadn’t before?
Okay, seriously. Is this just a cultural thing I’m not getting? Why are characters in manga and anime always shown pushing up their glasses using only their middle fingers? It’s extremely impractical for one and just makes the characters look like they’re flipping someone off.
Oh! Um…Hi, Chiba. Um…nice…hair? (And yes, this IS Chiba. This marks his first appearance.)
On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate this episode?
7. Pretty clever case, but the culprit attempting to teach a victim a lesson by killing them and then realizing on his own that that kinda defeats the purpose boggles me. :|
Celebrate it!
